Joanna takes a multidisciplinary approach to strategy, research, and innovation, driven by the goal of finding the best “fit” between problems, solutions, users, and company objectives. With a passion for creating inclusive, accessible products that improve lives, she previously developed an entrepreneurial venture to make custom-fit garments for breast cancer survivors—a project recognized as a finalist in Fast Co's 2023 Innovation by Design Awards.
A lifelong learner and maker, Joanna thrives on cultivating new skills—whether crafting digital products or experimenting with hands-on techniques like copper enameling. Her passion for birdwatching reflects her inquisitive nature and talent for keen observation, enabling her to recognize patterns, challenge assumptions, and turn insights into innovative outcomes. By combining her love of making with her dedication to serving others, she consistently delivers meaningful, human-centered results.
Joanna's background includes product design, market research, and business strategy, holding a Master’s in Design from the Institute of Design, a Master’s of Business Administration from Stuart School of Business, and a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
