About

Samantha is a design strategist with an entrepreneurial mindset, a researcher's curiosity, and a deep belief that the best design work is responsible and intentional. Her work lives at the intersection of design, research, and strategy — with a particular passion for problems that demand complex systems and journey mapping, co-designing with end users, and bringing ideas on paper to life.

Before Peer Insight, Samantha founded her own consumer brand, began her career in technology consulting, and worked at innovation labs across three countries. This path gave her a rare ability to bridge creative thinking and rigorous research with scrappy, practical execution and a global perspective she brings into every engagement.

Samantha holds a Master of Design (MDes) from the Institute of Design, Chicago, and a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA, with minors in Digital Humanities and Entrepreneurship.

What Inspires Me

Recently, I've been taking inspiration from different forms of art and media around me — whether it's an artwork in a museum, great storytelling in a book, or simply a well-crafted social media post. Connecting the dots from seemingly unrelated areas of creation to my work at PI always brings a fresh and interesting perspective. I'm also inspired by the very creative people around me (both at work and in my personal life), and especially hearing about how our users solve their own problems.

A Favorite Moment at Peer Insight

In my first project with PI, our team had an in-person week together to synthesize data from a week of interviews. We had the whole room covered with post-its and were defining an end-to-end journey on a big wall. I love moments like this, where there’s pure collaborative and generative energy that makes even difficult tasks feel so easy and fun.
